Multidisciplinary ​Cancer ​Pain ​Relief: From ​Evidence ​to ​Practice

Our ​goal ​is ​to ​present ​the ​most ​recent ​and ​relevant ​data ​and ​treatment ​options ​to ​practitioners ​at ​all ​levels ​and ​provide ​a ​forum ​to ​interact ​and ​discuss ​evidence-based ​medicine ​and ​best ​practices, ​all ​of ​which ​improve ​access ​to ​and ​quality ​of ​care ​for ​patients.

CME INFORMATION
MAHEC is an accredited sponsor of Continuing Medical Education (CME) for physicians in the Western North Carolina region and the surrounding areas. MAHEC is accredited by the North Carolina Medical Society to sponsor continuing medical education for physicians. Through judicious use of resources, we strive to provide as broad a range of medical specialty credits as possible including AMA/PRA credit and AAFP (American Academy of Family Physicians) credit to the physician constituency reflective of the distribution of medical specialties within the 16-county MAHEC region.

Abstracts should describe original research in the field of pain management with particular focus on Interventional Pain Management and/or Treatment of Patients with Cancer related Pain. Awards will be presented.
